Some mornings you don't have 30 minutes. Most mornings, you don't.

We started Solène because we got tired of cooking our hair every morning. The truth is, most of the women whose hair we wanted — French, Italian, the kind that looks like the ocean's been in it — weren't using $300 curling tools. They were sleeping in scrunchies. They were wrapping damp hair around silk before bed. They were letting their hair do its own slow work overnight.

So we made the tools to make that easier. Soft satin rods, real silk accessories, the kind of pieces you'd find in your grandmother's drawer if your grandmother was on holiday in Saint-Tropez.

Solène is small. We make a few things, we make them well. We ship from a warehouse in the US, and another in the EU. We answer our own emails.
